Lee Insil, Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Youn Kwan-suk, Chairman of the Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs, and Startups Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and Man-Gi Paik, Chairman of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, gave a keynote speech on "The Era of Global Intellectual Property Competition," and Gao Yongyi, Executive Vice President of the Capital Intellectual Property Services Association(CIPSA), was invited to attend the conference. The topic of this conference focused on "Intellectual Property, the Driving Force of Innovative Growth". It is reported that more than 500 government officials, legal and IP practitioners, scholars, and entrepreneurs from all over the world participated in the grand event.

Executive vice president Gao Yongyi  of  CIPSA gave a speech entitled "China’s Current Situation on Intellectual Property Protection Policy" at the conference, and introduced to the participants the main content of China's "The Outline for Building China into an Intellectual Property Power Country (2021-2035)" and "the National Intellectual Property Protection and Use Plan for the 14^th Five-year Plan " as well as recent revisions to THE CIVIL CODE OF P.R.C, PATEN LAW,TRADEMARK LAW, and COPYRIGHT LAW.

The speech enabled the attendees to fully understand China's efforts and current situation in intellectual property protection, receiving high attention and recognition. Executive Vice President Gao Yongyi stated in the speech that the Chinese government attaches great importance to intellectual property protection and will continue to protect and promote intellectual property innovation, making greater contributions to global economic growth and innovation. 

During the 13^th International Intellectual Property Protection Conference, Executive Vice President Gao Yongyi also visited the Korean Association for Intellectual Property Services (KAIPS) and the Korea Intellectual Property Association (KINPA) to have an in-depth conversation with the leaders of the two associations. They exchange views on strengthening exchanges in the intellectual property industry, promoting the landing of innovation achievement , and attracting high-quality Korean intellectual property service organizations to develop in Beijing, China.

In addition, Executive Vice President Gao Yongyi also visited the KIM & CHANG Law Firm and the Youme Patent & Law Firm in Korea to learn in detail about the service content and development of the two service organizations and their services to China's technology innovation subjects, and had an in-depth discussion on industry trends and talent cultivation between the two countries.

The participation of CIPSA’s leader in the 13^th International Intellectual Property Protection Conference in Korea and the visit to the Korean intellectual property industry associations and service associations presented China's efforts and achievements in intellectual property protection at the international level. On the other hand, the visit deepened mutual understanding in the field of intellectual property protection between China and Korea, and promoted communication and cooperation between the two countries in the future.
