On 10th January, the webinar on South Korean intellectual property was successfully held online as part of the "IP Plus" series of international intellectual property professional exchange activities. The event was hosted by the Capital Intellectual Property Service Association and the Beijing (Zhongguancun) International Intellectual Property Service Hall, and organised by Korea Yilian Intellectual Property Office. People from member institutions, IP service organisations, enterprises in Zhongguancun Park, research institutes and the public participated in the IP webinar via Tencent.

 In this webinar, Mr Park Seong-Joon, a partner of Yilian Intellectual Property Firm, gave an in-depth explanation of the latest legislative progress of the South Korean Trademark Law and the practice of defending trademarks in light of the selected cases of the South Korean Patent Office. In addition, Mr Park also discussed with the participants the current hot topics, especially the introduction of the coexistence agreement system in the revision of the Trademark Law. During the Q&A period, the speaker answered many questions raised by the participants patiently and in detail. The participants spoke highly of this event and hoped that there would be more related activities for enterprises to better understand the markets of various countries.
