On 13th March, the US IP Webinar of the "IP Plus" International IP Professional Exchange Series was successfully held in online format. The event was hosted by the Capital Intellectual Property Service Association and the Beijing (Zhongguancun) International Intellectual Property Service Hall, and organised by Miles & Waring. People from member institutions, IP service organisations, enterprises in the Zhongguancun Park, research institutes and the public participated in the IP webinar through Tencent Conference.

 In this IP webinar, Mr Harris A. Wolin, co-founding partner of Miles Wolin & Associates, gave an in-depth explanation of the U.S. Trademark application process and OA response strategy with selected cases. In addition, Mr Harris also discussed current hot topics with the participants, especially related to how to avoid the requirement of submitting proof of use of trademarks, cross search and other topics. During the Q&A stage, the presenter provided patient and detailed answers to a number of questions raised by the participants. The participants spoke highly of this event and hoped that there would be more related activities for enterprises to better understand the markets of various countries.
